How To Do an Art Show Part One - Urban Paradise

That photo up there ^ isn't even particularly flattering, I'm a grumpy soul at heart (I think this photo was taken just as I told Duke to piss-off taking photos), with atrocious dress sense, it makes me laugh, so how to do an art show?

This isn't really a how to post, because essentially organising an art show is pretty simple, you find some space, you get some artists, you pick some dates and then you advertise the shit out of it and pray to a god someone turns up.

This isn't the first time I've exhibited with Urban Paradise, but it has been my favourite. The turn around from being invited to exhibit and private view was less than a week, and I'm so grateful that I was invited. The quick turn around stops my perfectionist leanings and gets me into the 'just do it' mentality, which is so freeing.

I ended up exhibiting some of my The 100DayProject, of which you can see (the best) on instagram. I may do a round up of the past 30 days at some point. It depends on how much time I have, and if I have the inclination to share.

For now though, I'm going to make noodles, and ponder how to do an art show.
